In regard to "it was returned by mail", what is the "it?"   

When you filed, did you originally choose to receive your Federal refund by a check in the mail instead of direct deposit?  And are you referring to a Federal refund check that you are sure was sent out to you by the IRS, but your post office did not deliver it and returned it to the IRS?   If so, how do you know your post office received it and returned it?

Or did you print and mail a tax return to the IRS, and the tax return was returned to you in the mail?

I did my taxes online and had a check sent to me by mail.it was returned.been having lots of problems with my mail getting returned for several months now.talked to the post office about it and they said it was a computer glitch.checked turbo tax about it a couple of months ago and there was a link saying it had been returned and where I could go to take care of it but I’ve been very busy dealing with problems because of a house fire awhile back and now I’m trying to get my income tax return.i would like to have it sent to me by direct deposit and if I can’t do that then have it resent to me.going to use that money for my upcoming wedding.

You have to contact the IRS.  TurboTax does not have your check, nor can TurboTax do anything to get the check replaced for you.

Thank you.i just got off of the phone with the irs.i should receive my refund in about a month.wanted to have it directly deposited but I had too settle for having it sent to me by mail again.hope it gets to me this time.thank you for your time and help.
