How do I get my 2015 filing as a .tax file? Only .pdf is available for download and my accountant needs a .tax file

Here's how you would go about saving your tax document as a .tax file:

• - Log into the TurboTax account you used to file your tax return for that year, if you haven't already done so.
• - Once logged in, go to My Tax Timeline under My TurboTax in the top left corner of your account.
• - Go the the year you wish to access and click on it.
• - Under Some things you can do, you will see in blue Download .tax file. This will download the your return as a .tax data file.
