How do I find out if a deceased spouse filed state tax 12 years or more ago?

I don’t know his log in or password but I need proof he filed.

Not sure why you need proof of something from 12 years ago.   Did you receive a letter from the state?   Even with a log in or password, you would not find anything on the TurboTax site for a return from that long ago.  TT saves returns for seven years and then they are gone.    Maybe the state itself can give you some information.
