If you were not employed by anyone in 2020 then you will not have a W-2 to enter on the 2020 tax return.

If you did not work at all in 2020 you will not have a W-2. W-2's come from employers.

What income did you have? Did you have unemployment? If so you need your 1099G from your state. Did you have some other source of income like Social Security? Retirement income?
