What does the letter indicate that you need to do?  The Form 1040 is your Federal Tax Return.

The letter is stating i need to put in information from specific lines on that form. Do you know where i can find that form to get the information from those lines?

  • I think it’s line 11a, and 35a. I don’t have it on me at this moment. Can you please inform me on how to find this.

When you look at your Form 1040 you can find the lines you need for the IRS form. If you are referring to another tax document, please provide additional details. Use the steps below to actually preview your form and check the line numbers.

From the left rail menu in TurboTax Online, select Tax Tools (You may have to scroll down on the left rail menu.)

  1. Select Tax Tools
  2. On the drop-down select Tools
  3. On the pop-up menu titled “Tools Center”, select View Tax Summary
  4. On the left sidebar, select Preview my 1040

For TurboTax Desktop, change to 'Forms' and review the forms
