How do I fill out a second person's income tax return on my computer after I have completed my own? I don't know how to get the program to open again.

**If you are using the TurboTax Online version, you will have to do a new, separate online account (with a different user ID) for each federal return you want to prepare and pay for each (if you need to use a paid version of the online software). Go here How do I start another return in TurboTax Online? for steps to create new account. 

If you do another return under the same username you did the first return, it will override the one you already filed and lose everything for that return. 

**If you are using TurboTax CD/Download software installed on your computer; open the software by double clicking the TurboTax icon and click Start a new return (or Begin) on the Welcome screen. That will open a new software window for you to prepare the new return in. Another way to open a new return is to open software, then click File menu in the top left of the screen. Then choose New Tax Return from there.

You installed the program and used it?  Or did you accidentally use the Online version?  When you filled out your return was there a black column on the left side with the menu items?  Or did the menus go across the top in a blue bar?
