The easiest way to check to see if your routing and account number are accurate is by viewing your Form 1040. Your account information is listed on Lines 20 b,c & d of your Form 1040. If you have already filed you tax return and entered the wrong bank account for your direct deposit, you have two options for correcting this mistake:
· If the return hasn't already posted to the IRS, you can ask to stop the direct deposit. You may call the IRS at toll-free at 800-829-1040, M - F, 7 a.m. - 7 p.m.
· Generally, if the financial institution recovers the funds and returns them to the IRS, the IRS will send a paper refund check to your last known address on file with the IRS.

Your banking information can also be found on your TurboTax Electronic Filing Instructions Page in the Balance Due/Refund section. If you did not print the instruction sheet, please follow these steps to print or view it:
· Sign back into your TurboTax Account
· Scroll down to the bottom of the screen and click "Add a State" (You will not be adding a State, this is just a way to get you back into your tax return)
· Next select "Tax Tools" (left column) and then "Print Center"
· Select "Print, save, or preview this year's return"
· Choose to include the "Government and TurboTax worksheets"
· Then click "View or Print Forms"
· View the "TurboTax Electronic Filing Instructions Page"
