To Enter your Medicare B or Medicare D Self-Employed insurance premiums please follow the instructions below:
- Log into your TurboTax Online Account, select and enter your 2016 Return
- In the main tab on the Welcome Screen you will click on Federal Taxes
- After clicking a secondary tab will appear click on Income and Expenses
- Scroll down and Select Start for the Self-Employment Income and Expenses Section
- Select the Business that paid your Premiums from the list by clicking on Edit next to its name
- Once you have opened up this business scroll down and click Add Expenses for this work
- This will take you to a list of common expenses, scroll down and click on Less Common Expenses. This will expand the list and you will me able to find the area where you can enter your Self-Employed Medicare Premium as an expense to your business.
