How do I download a, "signed" copy of my 2021 taxes to forward to my daughters' college?

the return is self-prepared so there is no preparer signature. download a copy and sign and date where it says sign here.

When you efile the return is sent electronically with an electronic signature... there is no signature on the form 1040.  If they want an ink signed copy you need to print it, ink sign it and send it to them as requested.
