How do I change an improvement that is listed on the form as a deduction to one that Is depreciated?

I know that my new septic can be depreciated but it is listed on the form as a deduction. How to I change it to a depreciated asset?

You need to delete the expense where you have entered it and go to the section marked 'Assets and Depreciation'.  Enter all of the information about your septic tank there and the system will set up the depreciation for you.
