How do i amend my 2017 tax return on turbo tax if it was prepared by a cpa and my 2018 return was done using turbo tax?

You would have to purchase the 2017 Desktop software (the Online version is only for the current year returns). Once you installed the software on your computer, you would need to first enter all your information exactly as it was when you filed your original return.  Then you need to "trick" the program into thinking you filed by choosing to file by mail.  It might be easier to go back to where you filed your original return. You can purchase the 2017 desktop software (download) at the following website

After all your original information is entered & you "tricked" the program by choosing file by mail, save your return, then you can go through the amendment interview to amend your return.  Amended returns must be mailed.
