How do I amend my 2016 taxes

Since you have already filed your return, you'll need to wait for your tax return to either be rejected or accepted, if it is rejected you will have the chance to make any corrections before you resubmit the return. If your inaccurate tax return was accepted, you will need to amend your return to correct the errors. Also keep in mind that you will not be able to e-file an amended return as it cannot be filed electronically. The form is only filed on paper, so it will need to be printed and filed by mail.
