You cannot add information to a tax return after you e-file.   If you left something out you have to wait until the return has been fully processed and then amend using a Form 1040X to fix your mistake(s).  The IRS is looking for mistakes on line 30, and they usually catch them and correct them, so you definitely should not try to change anything on your return or amend until your return has been fully processed.
