To access your current or prior year online tax returns sign onto the TurboTax website with the User ID you used to create the account - https://myturbotax.intuit.com/
Scroll down to the bottom of the screen and on the section Your tax returns & documents click on Show. Click on the Year and Click on Download/print return (PDF)
If you used the desktop CD/Download editions installed on your computer, the only copy of your tax data file and any PDF's will be on the computer where the return was created. TurboTax does not store online any returns completed using the desktop editions.
Or go to this IRS website for free federal tax return transcripts - https://www.irs.gov/individuals/get-transcript
For a fee of $50 you can get a complete federal tax return from the IRS by completing Form 4506 - http://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/f4506.pdf
Your only proof that you paid your tax due is your own bank/credit card records. TurboTax never knows how, when or even if you paid the tax you owed.
Many people have multiple TT accounts and forget how to access them. Log out of the account you are in now.

Or did you use the desktop version of TurboTax? If so, the files are on your own hard drive or any backup device you used like a flash drive.

If your account says the return was "Accepted" then check your records to see how/when you paid and if the check cleared or if your credit card statement shows the charge went through.
If your account says "Rejected", "Printed, or "ready to mail" then the return was never filed and now the only way to file it is to print it, sign it and mail it. And you will owe the interest for being late.
If you never filed 2017 how do they know know you have a tax due and owe interest on it? Are they saying you didn't pay the tax due? Or they changed your return and you owe more?
