How can you tell if you filed successfully?

it said filed but its still showing me an open screen

If you clicked the Transmit my returns now button and see is a Transmission Successful screen then you have sent your return to the IRS and will have to wait to see if the IRS accepted or rejected your return.

When you log into TurboTax you can see your e-file status.
