How can I save the input details of my tax return? I need to see the earnings by taxpayer.

When filing a FAFSA form, I need to supply wage earnings by taxpayer. How can I get that from TurboTax since it's already in there that way?

If you filed a joint tax return, all of your income is combined on the Form 1040.   It is not broken down by which spouse received what.  Did you save your return as a pdf?   You can refer to the worksheets that correspond to your individual W-2's or 1099's in order to see how much each of you received.  And....you are supposed to save your own W-2's for at least three years.  It is also a good idea to save your own copies of 1099's that you received.

@xmasbaby0  Yes, I saved my return as a PDF. The worksheets are exactly what I'm looking for and they are not included in the PDF. Where do I find them?

@jfagan The 2021 PDF download from the online editions will have the worksheets included in the PDF after TurboTax migrates the online editions to tax year 2022 in early December.

This happens each year after the online editions are closed to prepare for the next tax year.

@DoninGA  Thank you for that detail! I used to be able to print that worksheet detail immediately after filing the returns. Is that feature only available on the CD version?

@jfagan The worksheets will be included with the online editions if you use Print Center and then the option for all Worksheets when accessing the online tax return.  This is available at any time before the online editions are shut down.  After shut down the worksheets will be available from the PDF download but only after the new tax year online editions become available in December.

The desktop editions can always have the worksheets available in a PDF if you select that option in the File section of the program.  Or can be viewed at any time using Forms mode.

How can I access Print Center in the online version if I've already filed the return? The only options I appear to have are to access Tax Home or Documents. In Tax Home, the only option appears to be to download the PDF. There are no options available in that download. I can't choose what to print. It just downloads the same PDF without the worksheets. It's getting very frustrating.

@jfagan After the 2021 online editions have shut down to prepare for the 2022 online editions the PDF download will only include the forms and schedules that were needed for filing.  The worksheets will not be available in the 2021 PDF until the 2022 online editions are available in early December.
