How can I remove the option to apply my refund to 2026? Turbo Tax just will not undo the selection. It wants me to input all kinds of additional info so I want to stop.

I go back into Apply refund to next year and select no when it says apply all or part of it toward next years tax bill yet it still does not give me my refund back.

If you've already filed the return, you won't be able to change it.

But, after removing the "apply to next year" option, did you choose a different method of payment:

• Go to the File tab.
• Select Start/Revisit next to "Step 2: Your refund info".
• Choose Direct Deposit and enter your banking information.

Turbo Tax does not give me the option for Direct Deposit.  It will not accept "No" under "Application for Refund"
