TurboTax limits the number of digits in data entry fields to nine, including the cents figures to the right of the decimal If you need to enter an amount greater than $9,999,999.99, then you will have to do so as multiple transactions. For example, if you have proceeds from the sale of stock that totals $21,000,000, you will have to break it down in to three entries of $7,000,000. The cost basis will need to be adjusted in the same manner.
