Yes, but you'll be asked to pay before you can print.

Can I print a copy of my TurboTax Online return before I file it?

  1. If you're not already in your return, sign in at TurboTax.com and open or continue your return.
  2. Select Tax Tools and then Print Center from the left menu (on mobile devices, tap in the upper left corner to expand the menu).
  3. Select the first option, Print, save, or preview this year's return and follow any additional instructions.
  4. If you're using a free version with no add-on fees, you'll be asked to register first.
  5. Once your PDF opens in Adobe Acrobat Reader, select the printer icon near the top.
  6. Make any adjustments in the Print window and then select Print at the bottom.

You can also just view your entire return or just your 1040 form before you e-file without paying:

  1. Open or continue your return.
  2. Select Tax Tools in the left menu (if you don't see this, select the menu icon in the upper-left corner).
  3. With the Tax Tools menu open, you can then:
  • Select Print Center and then Print, Save, or Preview This Year's Return to preview your entire return, including all forms and worksheets (you may be asked to register or pay first).
  • View only your 1040 form by selecting Tools. Next, select View Tax Summary in the pop-up, then Preview my 1040 in the left menu.

Mine won't let me save to pdf or print UNTIL I pay, please let me know if TurboTax changed the rules or if there is another way.

You have to pay or register to print your full return.  You can preview the 1040 and Schedules 1-3 without paying, but you will need to register or pay to print or view the full return.

You can view your entire return or just your 1040 form before you e-file:

This is the worst print preview ever!!! you should be able to print preview as you are working on your return

You can.  But if you want to see all the forms you have to pay any fees first.  Otherwise why would anyone pay?

Before filing,  You can preview the 1040 or print the whole return

You have to pay the TurboTax account fees before you can print the tax return before filing.

To pay the TurboTax online account fees by credit card, without completing the 2020 return at this time, click on Tax Tools on the left side of the online program screen. Then click on Print Center. Then click on Print, save or preview this year's return. On the next page, to pay by credit card, click Pay Now. The next screen will show a review of your Fees, click on Continue. Complete the next screen to pay by credit card and click Continue.

All of these answers tell you to login online to print.  But, if you PAID for it, and you are working on your return within the downloaded program?  The answer is:  go to the "File" tab, then on the grey menu select "save for your records", then print.

There are many ways to print from the Desktop program.  If you have WIndows Desktop go to FILE and either Save to PDF or select Print.  Or switch to FORMS and print a form from there or up on the Menu bar right side click on Print Center.
