How can I find out about my refund?

I filed with turbotax on 2/1/20 and still have not received my refund.  Can you help me find out why?

It appears the return was never sent to the IRS.  Does this mean I have to enter everything again?

No I was not given any answer for my federal return.  I don't care about my Georgia return because it is blank as I did not have any Georgia taxes.

First, check to see if your return was filed by checking your e-file status. If no status is showing then the return was not completed and submitted. 

If you don't see a status, go through the TurboTax File section again. Be sure to go all the way to the end and select Transmit my returns now.

When you e-file your federal return you will receive two emails from TurboTax. The first one will say that your return was submitted.  The second email will tell you if your federal return was accepted or rejected. 

If you find your return was not completed and e-filed, please follow the instructions below:

1. On TurboTax Online, sign into your account.
2. Select Tax Home in the left menu.
3. Scroll down to Your tax returns & documents.
4. Select 2019, and then select Add a State (you're not actually adding a state, this just gets you into the right area).
5. Select File in the left menu (expand your browser window if you don't see this, or select the menu icon in the top left corner).
6. On the Just one more step screen, follow steps 1 and 2 if you haven't already.
7. Select the Start button to the right of Step 3.
8. On the Let's get ready to e-file screen, select I want to e-file.
9. Follow the instructions to e-file your return. (make sure to click Transmit Now)
