What does it say in your account for 2022? Does it show that the return was accepted? Or does it say something else---like "rejected," "printed," or "ready to mail?”
If it does not show that your return was e-filed and accepted, then something went wrong and you still need to file it. A 2022 return can only be filed by mail now. It cannot be e-filed. You can print it, sign and date it in ink and mail it in.
When you mail a tax return, you need to attach any documents showing tax withheld, such as your W-2’s or any 1099’s. Use a mailing service that will track it, such as UPS or certified mail so you will know the IRS/state received the return.
