When your 2020 return has been prepared and you are in the FILE section you will be able to enter new banking information. You cannot change it before then. That information does not go from TurboTax to the IRS until you file the return.

When you have completed your federal tax return, received and entered all of your W-2's and any Form 1099's from 2020, have a federal tax refund, you can enter the bank routing and account number in the File section of the program for a direct deposit.
