How can I change my routing and account number to receive my income tax?

My return has already been accepted but I need to change my routing and account numbers?

If you already filed you will have to amend the return more than likely. And that can take months

Once you submit your return you cannot make any changes to the return. 

If the account linked with the routing and account number is closed or invalid when the IRS tried to deposit the refund, they will then issue you a paper check by mail. 

Please do not submit an amended return as that would not be warranted in this case.
