how can i fix my gross income it is a higher number

Don’t know what you mean by “fix” it. Your gross income is calculated according to your inputs.

change the number in my w2 form it comes out as a higher number than what it is. the number submitted was an estimate to what turbo tax thought it was going to be i didnt review it and i input it like that. but my w2 form another number higher appears. how do i fix that?

In order to correct this so that you can file, revisit the W-2 entry.  

Here's how to do this in TurboTax Online:

• Navigate to Federal Taxes,  Wages & Income,  Job (W-2)
• On the next page select the W-2 that is not correct
• Continue through information about the company you work for.
• Then, on the next screen, you can correct your wages.
