How can I cancel my efiling. I made a mistake on my filing . Can I stop it or retract it?

There is no way to cancel an e-file. It's like putting a paper tax return in a mailbox. There is no way to get it back.

If your e-file is rejected you will be able to correct the errors and resubmit it. If it's accepted you will have to wait until the IRS finishes processing your tax return and you have received the refund. Then you will be able to file an amended return to correct the mistake.
