How can I amend my return twice for 2016 return. My first return was accepted but I year later I have to amend it again.

You will amend it like you did before.  The difference is you need to make sure the tax calculator is showing the amount reported on your amended return(s).  Once you have determined that, you will need to delete your amended return(s).  The changes should still be reflected in your return and the tax calculator should not change.

To Delete the Federal Amended return please follow the steps below:

• Open your tax return
  
• Click on Federal Taxes
  
• Click on Other Tax Situations
  
• Scroll down to Other Tax Forms
• Click the button beside Amend a Return.  (See the screenshot below.)
• Scroll down to the bottom of the screen. 
• You should see “Nevermind, I don’t need to amend.” 
• Click the cancel button.  (See the second screenshot below.)
  

Make sure that your changes from the first amendment are still entered in your return.
