How can I amend my Fed/State return after filing? I need to change from itemized to std. deduct. TT wants to use std. deduct for the 1040 info rather than itemized ded.?

To change from/to Standard Deductions to/from Itemized Deductions, please follow these steps in TurboTax:

  1. While in your Tax Home,
  2. Select Wages & Income,
  3. Select Review/Edit,
  4. Select Deductions & Credits from the tabs at the top,
  5. Select Wrap up Tax Breaks from the bottom of the screen,
  6. Continue through the screens until you get to this one:
  7. Select Change My Deductions.

I’m using TT 2019  Home & Business

I can’t find wages & Income – I see Wages & Salaries – I don’t see review/edit

Under deductions /credits – I don’t see warp up tax breaks anywhere including at the bottom of the page

What do I do?
