Hi there, I received a notice from the IRS saying I did not pay my proper estimated tax penalty for 2018. I believe I did when filing. Where can I check this?

The penalty on 1040 line 23 is just an estimate.  It even says Estimated Tax Penalty.   It's common for the IRS to Bill you for some more depending on exactly when they get your payment.  Or even send you a refund.

you paid for live help  use it to help you complete form 2210 to see if IRS calculations are correct.  the IRS uses the simplified method. the live agent can also take you through the annualized income method which may reduce the penalties.
