Hey y'all I amended my taxes on here to include information from another college. I got the paperwork to mail in and if I don't mail it in is it like I never amended it?

That did help a little with the links provided; however, the gist of what happened is I went through the process to amend my return and accidentally submitted it before reviewing everything properly. Basically does turbo tax immediately inform the government of the new changes even though I have to send in the paperwork for this one? If not, can I just not send in the paperwork and stay with my original filing?
