Are you asking about a Federal refund?  Please answer all 4 questions:

Approximately how long has it been since you filed?  And did you mail or efile the return?

Was the return "accepted"?  What do you see here?

If that showed it was accepted, what do you see at the IRS website below for the status of your Federal refund?

And finally, did you have any TurboTax fees that you chose to pay out of your Federal refund?

Yes, I am talking about the Federal Return. I received the State later.
1. I filed the return on April. As far as I remember I efiled it and mailed only State Return.
2. Status: Accepted! Accepted on:
April 11, 2016 08:46 AM PDT
3. The service is unavailable right now, but I checked it earlier today, and it was the first step out of 3. I think it was called "Received". Then there were supposed to be something like "Approved" and "Sent." And it was written that it is still in the process.
4. I have paid all the fees separately from my bank account

OK since it has been processing for more than 21 days then you can call the IRS …

Call the IRS:  1-800-829-1040  hours 7 AM - 7 PM local time Monday-Friday

When calling the IRS do NOT choose the first option re: "Refund", or it will send you to an automated phone line.  

So after first choosing your language, then do NOT choose Option 1 (refund info).  Choose option 2 for "personal income tax" instead.

Then press 1 for "form, tax history, or payment".  

Then press 4 "for all other questions."

Then press 2 "for all other questions."  It should then transfer you to an agent.

If it's been more than 90 days since the return was accepted  then you can ask for help from the Tax Payer Advocate office:

At the following IRS website, find the USA map and click on your state, and it will give you the number of your IRS Taxpayer Advocate.

If you are unsuccessful with the Taxpayer Advocate for your area, you can also try the special IRS phone number for the Taxpayer Advocate Service at 877-777-4778.

Thank you very much for your assistance. And I have one more question. Is there a certain deadline, when they can drop the case. For example the end of the year, it should still be in process, right?
