hello my federal taxes have been accepted but my maine return is still pending turbotax sent jan 19

The most likely reason is that the state is not accepting e-file returns yet. Most states will not start accepting e-files until the IRS does. I would love to know the answer to this as well.  I am also in Maine and mine is still pending although the link above shows Maine is accepting state refunds already.
