Read the notice carefully, and compare it to your statements. If you reported All information IRS has, then send them copies of your brokerage statement and/or other income cited. Most likely, your imported statement (or other reported income) was Not the same as final info IRS has used in evaluating your return, and you should remit as requested.
another thing with importing brokerage info. with many, each a/c must be imported separately. also there can be a lot of info on the broker's year end tax summary that doesn't get imported. you must check each and every item.
