Haven't received federal tax return. Filed in April.

I filed through Turbo tax in April for both my state and federal returns. They were accepted 2020/04/03. I received the state tax return through the mail, eventhough I set up direct deposit. I have yet to recive my federal tax return.

I looked at the IRS website, it stated I was accepted and it was sent, however I have not received it. The IRS said the only reason I shouldn't have recieved it would be I put in the wrong banking information, I do not know how to update that information or get it sent as a paper check.

You cannot update your banking information once the return has been accepted by the IRS.

If the bank details you provided are inaccurate, the bank will reject the direct deposit and the IRS will send you a paper check to the address listed on your tax return.

Thank you for the reaponce. I understand that.

I would be ok with that answer, except that it was accepted the same time as my state, I got my state return less than a month after it was accepted, and I still have not received my federal. If they were going to send it to me through the mail I should have received it 2 months ago. Any other way I can check to see if that really is the issue?
