Friend did my taxes last year did not file my 1099s and I just added them in to this years ! I’m just being honest

What should I do should I file now with my 2021 taxes or amend the 2020? I’m owing a lot of money now all of a sudden I got refunded last year I’m completely confused

What kind of 1099?  If they are for 2020 you need to amend 2020 to add them.  Do not put them on 2021 now!  Did they use Turbo Tax last year?

Stop!!!!     Your friend made a mistake or maybe the mistake was that you did not provide the 1099's to your friend, so your 2020 return was wrong and needs to be amended.  Do not compound the problem by trying to put it all on a 2021 return because then 2021 will be all wrong too.

You can only put 2021 income on a 2021 return.

Your 2020 return must be amended.   There are over a dozen kinds of 1099's.   What kind do you have?   We need to know what kind you have in order to help with where to enter them---1099NEC? 1099Misc?  1099R?  1099B?  1099E?   1099DIV  ?   etc etc etc.

If your friend used TurboTax you can get the account information and user ID and amend using TT.   If she used some other software, then it would be best to use that same software---maybe your friend will help.
