To enter the amount paid when you originally filed the 2015 VA return, please follow these steps:

1. Go into your VA return.
2. Continue to the screen, A few things before we wrap up your state taxes.
3. In the Other Forms section, click the Start/Revisit box next to Amend a Tax Return.
4. Go through the screens until you reach, Amount Paid or Refunded on your Original Return.
5. Enter the amount on this screen.

Thanks for your help.  I did all steps you've shown and the refund amount on the screen reflected the amount I paid but not on the forms to mail out - Please tell me what else I have to do?
