For my 2019 tax return, I filled a 1040. A few months later I filed 1040X. Now if I try to download my 2019 return, I only get the 1040X. How do I get the original 1040?

before you amend, always print a paper copy of the original and the revised tax return for your records.

The only way to do that in TurboTax is to unwind all the revisions you put in since you filed.

OR

ask the IRS for a transcript.
