For how long filing an amendment using TurboTax is free for TurboTax Premier users?

Hello all,

If I file me original taxes using TurboTax then as this answer says it is free to file the amendment with TurboTax. Is this still correct?

If yes, then till how many years from the filing date I can do this?

You have three years from the filing deadline of a tax return in order to amend the original return.   TurboTax does not charge you to amend unless you end up having (or choosing) to upgrade to a higher version of the software when you amend.

I have TurboTax Premier.  Under what conditions I might need to upgrade for filling the amendment?
If at all I need to file an amendment it will be due to getting a corrected W2-C and that too only for FICA taxes.
Will I need to upgrade even then?

No you would not need to upgrade for that.
