Filled May 2021 and never received my 2020 tax return money. Using the IRS online tool it was "being processed" for months. Now it is no longer in the system at all.

Is it just a recent glitch in the website or something? Or part of the "processing"?

Sometimes when your return is moving from one stage of processing to another stage the information kind of "disappears" from the refund site temporarily. Sit tight.

The "Where's My Refund?" tool has been changed to the 2021 returns so you cannot see anything about a prior year return on that tool ... your only option is to check your account transcript ...
