Filed taxes, received refund,taxes were in error,will turbo tax take in account the return that was filed first?

filled taxes and received a refund. received a added 1099 I need to file a second time this year. used amended turbo program, will it take into account that I all ready filed a first time and should not have a refund?

Yes, when you amend a return it does take onto account what the tax was on the original return and the refund you would have gotten when it determine what the correct tax should be.
