My TurboTax account shows my federal taxes were accepted 02/27/2022. Both online and phone platforms are reporting federal taxes were not accepted and TurboTax preparation fees are due. I gave TurboTax permission to deduct fees from my refund receiving account from my tax refunds. For whatever reason fees were not received. These fees were recently deducted out of my bank checking account on 06/24/2022. I cannot get a person on the phone with TurboTax to share an update, assist or to help expedite the process necessary to receive my federal tax refund. Isn't that what we pay TurboTax? Help when help is needed? Please advise my course of action from this point forward. Thank you for your consideration, cooperation and assistance in this sensitive matter. I genuinely appreciate it. I will be awaiting your answer... please.
TurboTax is DIY tax preparation software where the tax return is self-prepared by the user of the software. TurboTax is not a paid tax professional such as a CPA, EA or tax attorney.
Once a tax return has been Accepted by the IRS or a State, TurboTax receives no further information concerning the tax return or the status of any tax refund. TurboTax legally cannot intercede with the IRS on the behalf of a taxpayer based on Federal privacy laws that are currently in place.

As of June 17, 2022, we had 11.2 million unprocessed individual returns which include returns received before 2022, and new tax year 2021 returns. Of these, 2 million returns require error correction or other special handling, and 9.2 million are paper returns waiting to be reviewed and processed. This work does not typically require us to correspond with taxpayers but does require special handling by an IRS employee so, in these instances, it is taking the IRS more than 21 days to issue any related refund and in some cases this work could take 90 to 120 days. If a correction is made to any Recovery Rebate Credit, Child Tax Credit, Earned Income Tax Credit or Additional Child Tax Credit claimed on the return, the IRS will send taxpayers an explanation. How long you may have to wait: The IRS understands the importance of timely processing of tax returns and refund issuance. We have processed all error free returns received prior to October 2021 and continue to work the returns that need to be manually reviewed due to errors. We are continuing to reroute tax returns and taxpayer correspondence from locations that are behind to locations where more staff is available, and we are taking other actions to minimize any delays. Tax returns are opened and processed in the order received. As the return is processed, whether it was filed electronically or on paper, it may be delayed because it has a mistake including errors concerning the Recovery Rebate Credit and the Child Tax Credit, is missing information, or there is suspected identity theft or fraud. If we can fix it without contacting you, we will. If we need more information or need you to verify that it was you who sent the tax return, we will write you a letter. The resolution of these issues could take 90 to 120 days depending on how quickly and accurately you respond, and the ability of IRS staff trained and working under social distancing requirements to complete the processing of your return.
What you should do: In most instances, no further action is needed but you may check Where’s My Refund? or you can view your account. If you filed electronically and received an acknowledgement, you do not need to take any further action other than promptly responding to any requests for information. If you filed on paper, check Where’s My Refund? If it tells you we have received your return or are processing or reviewing it, we are processing your return, but it may be under review. If you filed before October 2021 and Where’s My Refund? does not have any information, your return has been opened but work on it has not begun. We’re working hard to get through the carryover inventory. Please don’t file a second tax return or contact the IRS about the status of your return.
@anseltsmith beyond what @DoninGA posted, understand that any correspondance between the IRS and you is confidential. The IRS doesn't share anything with anyone (including Turbo Tax) other than you. Please read what @DoninGA posted for you as that is directly from the IRS website.
THe IRS is woefully backlogged and patience is simply the only option.
If your efile was Accepted the IRS got it and is working on it. It's just not showing yet on IRS Where's my refund.
Since the IRS is taking too long to send your refund you still have to pay the fees in time.
See What if the IRS reduces your refund or delays it.
Then when the IRS does send your refund they won't take the fees out again.
And, Why you got charged,
You should have received about 4 emails asking for the fees. If you don't pay they will debit your account. You had to agree to it.
