Federal Tax is not decucted

I have to pay federal taxes and I have given my information for direct debit and turbo tax showed that it will be deducted on 02/18/2017 but till now it is not deducted and on return also it is reflecting same.

Federal Tax is not decucted

Funds are usually withdrawn on the payment date you specified, assuming your e-filed return has been accepted (received) by the IRS. If you did not or do not remember selecting a date...It will normally default to April 18th (current year deadline).

If that date happens to fall on a weekend or federal holiday, the funds are usually withdrawn the next business day.

You may filed on 2/18 but the actual payment may not get debited until the due date (which is 4/18/17).

I filled my returns on 2/8 , on same day it was accepted and the payment was scheduled on 2/18
