It has been 10 week why do I still not have my MS state refund?

MS refund has still not arrived. When I track it they just say it is pending.

Expect Mississippi refunds to be issued about 10 weeks after the return is received. The earlier you file, the faster your return will be processed. File too close to the April deadline, though, and you’ll probably see a longer delay in processing.

It has been over ten weeks. Although I did file on the 31st of March. Not sure if that is close to the deadline. I reseved  a letter asking for more information on my iteamized deductions. Which I was very prompt in returning. No more than a two day turn around even though I was given a month in which to return the information. My families and my financial situation is such that I am greatly in need of these funds. Not to blow on extras and unneeded material possessions. This is why I am searching out for some kind of detailed answer. Not just more of the same.

Your best bet is to call MS, as they do not advise TT of any of this.
