Efiled 2023 return. Received refund. Need to amend 2023 due to 1099-R and 1099-Int corrections. Amended return. 1040-x says "Do not File." How to proceed?

A 2023 federal amended tax return, Form 1040-X, can only be printed and mailed, it cannot be e-filed using TurboTax. You need to change the to File by Mail in the File section of the program.

Started Turbotax this morning, Turbotax performed update & problem resolved, i.e. Form 1040-x no longer shows message. Thanks.

my dependent's 1099-T box1---$17936 of tuition/fee includes $9068 amounts for 2024 and $8968 for academic period bejing Jan 2025. can I only report the 9068 tuition and fee in my tax return, or I have to report 17936 as tuition and fee in my tax return
