I am having the same problem. My return was accepted on 2/13/2021 and the state of Missouri has no record of it. I was wondering if I should be worried. I have never e-filed before so I am not sure what is normal
I know it's been a while, but I'm curious to know what happened? I'm having the same issue with Delaware and don't know whether they just haven't gotten to my return yet (I filed it 5 weeks ago) or if I need to print and mail it in. Turbo Tax isn't letting me do any kind of "re-submit" or anything, so that's really my only other option.
What does the Tax Home page say when you sign in @james1281 ? You can check the status of your refund at the Delaware Division of Revenue website. Select the Check Return Status button. You'll have to enter the exact amount of your expected refund in whole dollars. You can find this by signing in to TurboTax.
The refund date doesn't include the time it takes for your bank to process a direct deposit or the time it takes for a check to arrive in the mail.
Per the Delaware Division of Revenue, You will receive a tax return acknowledgment from the Delaware Division of Revenue when your return has been received and is being processed. If additional information is needed to process your return, the Division of Revenue will contact you. Refund time frames can vary depending on the complexity of your return, but our goal is to process refunds within eight weeks of receipt.
The DE state page said that they haven't received my return. I even called them, gave them my SSN and they said they never received it. I then called TurboTax and they said that they transmitted it and there is nothing else they can do. They are ones that said I may want to print and send to DE just to make sure.
You can check that your return was received by the taxing authority using these instructions: Check the Electronic Postmark of your Return. Pay close attention to the separate lines for Federal and State. They are separate statuses.
Thank you, yes, I see both State and Federal say "Accepted". But if DE has told me that they don't have a record of my return for my SSN, then what can I do?
I would provide them the information from the Electronic Postmark.
