No one would be able to answer that question but the person or entity who sent you the 1099-NEC.
Contact whoever issued you the 1099-NEC and ask them what the 1099-NEC was for.
A 1099-NEC is issued as nonemployee compensation and can include:
One not uncommon situation: your employer "rents you out" to another business. The other business issues a 1099 to you, even though the payment went to your employer. You may need to ask your employer about what's going on.
Another situation: you were not paid money, but services or goods. The 1099 represents the value of those good or services.
Another situation: you did the work in 2022 and the issuer hasn't paid you yet, but wants to get the deduction for his business in 2022.

You will have to contact the company and see if you can find out why they haven't paid you. There is nothing TurboTax or anyone on this site can do to help you.
