Does anyone know if you receive your California state refund through check or through direct deposit

I and my friend got our CA refunds using Direct Deposit.

The method to receive the state tax refund was selected by you in the File section of the program in Step 2.  Look at your state Filing Instructions page to see how you selected to receive the refund.

When you sign onto your online account and land on the Tax Home web page, scroll down and click on Add a state.  See screenshot

This will take you back to the 2018 online tax return.

Click on Tax Tools on the left side of the online program screen.  Then click on Print Center.  Then click on Print, save or preview this year's return.
