If you efiled, the IRS says 9 out of 10 folks who efile and choose direct deposit should get their Federal refunds within about 3 weeks--but it can sometimes be sooner, sometimes longer. For a mailed paper return, it can take much longer.

You can use the IRS "Where's My Refund" tool at https://www.irs.gov/refunds to track the Federal refund. Here are some tips on how to use the IRS tool:

If you efiled, be sure you have waited at least 24 hours after acceptance before using the IRS WMR tool. If you filed a paper return, it can take 4 weeks or longer to show up in the IRS tool.
Be sure you enter the correct SSN and filing status.
Be sure you are using only the Federal refund amount. Do not include any state refund or any total refund or net refund (Fed and State) that TurboTax may have provided on a screen.
Look at your actual Federal return to get the Federal refund amount, i.e., your Form 1040, Line 35a.
You can also try phoning the IRS refund hotline. I've seen it work for some users when the WMR tool didn't. 800-829-1954

Some states are fairly quick with tax refunds, while some states can take several weeks, as they crack down on fraudulent returns. To track your state refund (if applicable), you have to use the refund lookup tool at your state's website. Using the table in the FAQ below, you can click on your state for info and direction to your state's website. Your state's site also may have some FAQ that say how long it takes to receive a refund in your state.

Addendum

Before using the IRS "Where's My Refund" tool and/or your state's refund lookup tool, be sure both returns (if applicable) were accepted (if efiled.) If you used Online TurboTax, you can check the efile status by logging into your Online account and looking at the Tax Home to see if they were accepted or rejected.
