If you choose to pay your TurboTax fees from your Federal refund, you must choose to receive your refund by direct deposit.  If you want to receive a check you would have to choose to pay your TurboTax fees by direct debit or credit card.

How do I remove the Refund Processing Service and change my payment method to credit or debit?
