That would be completely up to you and your state. Filing a return is to get a refund for taxes paid. Owing the state fines or overpayment would be a different departments. Being that you file with your ssn, your state can garnish your refund. The best option is to wait and see what happens. If it is garnished any amount, you should receive a letter from your state treasury stating why it was taken.
