Do I need to mail the 1099-MISC form I received with my amended return?

I already filed my taxes for this year and recieved a 1099-MISC in the mail. I amended my return and am getting ready to mail the amended return..

My question is, do I need to mail the actual 1099-MISC form I received with the amended return?

Yes, be sure to include a copy of the 1099 with the amended return and include a payment for any tax you now owe. If you are still awaiting a refund from the original return, wait until you receive it before filing Form 1040X.

Thanks. I also sent the updated 1040 form as well as the 1040X - is this an issue? I wasn't sure if I should include it or not

You did not need to send the updated 1040. But sending it is not an issue.
